Little Fins - School Programmes

School curriculum swimming programmes are often associated with extremely sizeable groups, insufficient interaction between pupils and coaches as well as inadequate, ineffectual and outdated teaching methods. FastFins® has developed a programme that seeks to address this issue, ensuring optimal pupil engagement and progression.

FastFins® instructors are contributing their expertise to the swim coaching programmes of the Imperial College Swimming Club, the Imperial College London Triathlon Club, Glendower Preparatory School, Hyde Park School, Knightsbridge School and Le Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle.

Community

FastFins® success is under-pinned by a resolute spirit of community and we recognize the importance of giving back to the community that has helped shape our enterprise. In addition to collaborating with the organizations listed above, FastFins® also co-funded with Sport England and Le Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, renovations at Imperial College London’s pool in W2 to ensure it remained open for the benefit of college and community alike. FastFins® launched an annual sponsorship programme for promising Imperial College students who excel in team and individual pursuits and administer a bursary scheme for pupils from less affluent backgrounds.

"Over the past 10 years since the opening of the Imperial College Sports Centre, Ethos, in South Kensington, Sport Imperial and FastFins® have forged an extremely strong working partnership for the supply and management of a first-class swim programme for the benefit of both Imperial College students and staff, as well as the local community. We enjoy a highly professional working relationship which has expanded to joint bids for Sport England facilities funding, successfully leading to an expansion of the coaching programme in other pools within the Sport Imperial portfolio."
